Injera is a flat-bread, with a unique, slightly spongy texture. Our 100% Teff Injera is made with brown Teff and water, using traditional Ethiopian Injera making process taking three days. The Injera stays fresh 8 - 10 days, longer if kept in a refrigerator.
The ingredient, Teff, is believed to be the smallest grain in the world. Although tiny, it's packed with nutrients; it's rich in calcium, iron, barium, thiamine, fiber, and more.

How long does Injera bread stays fresh?
Injera is a perishable item and must be given extra care. Generally, Injera stays fresh at room temperature 8-10 days, but it’s BEST kept in a refrigerator.
You can also store Injera bread in a freezer. To thaw, leave it at room temperature or defrost it.
What is the best way to warm Injera bread?
The BEST way to warm Injera is to wrap 1 - 3 injeras in a clean cloth and place it in a microwave for 50-60 seconds. Wrapping the injera in a cloth will give it softness and bring back the moisture.
